In collaboration with the Tamarindo Development Association, we developed the design proposal for Tama Market, a space conceived to integrate organically with the natural surroundings of Playa Tamarindo.
Inspired by the geometric patterns of the olive ridley turtle’s shell, we designed a hexagonal module that interlocks with others, forming a canopy that plays with light and shadow—evoking the feeling of being sheltered by nature.
This structure not only provides refuge during the rainy season, but also supports the natural flow of visitors and creates spaces that foster artistic, cultural, and recreational activities.
